How it works
The service consumes hoist load, speed and cycle data from maxedge-core, maps it onto the rope’s bending zones and accumulates a wear index per zone. When a zone crosses the inspection threshold the crane dashboard and MaxCloud raise a recommendation. Nothing is written back to the PLC.
License lifecycle
- Sales registers the subscription in Masterdata → the license file is generated.
- Install via Edge Manager or eHawk.
- 30 days before expiry the dashboard tile turns amber and Edge Manager alerts #lh-maxedge-alerts.
- Expired → analyses stop, logging continues. See the runbook.
